have for sale vintage Philips AD3800AM 800 ohm OTL Alnico FULL range speakers. The speakers sound very nice. They have a warm sound to them. Philips invented the OTL system, basically to omit the output transformer, UGT. This saved production cost. The advantage of OTL is that there is no output transformer, so there is no distortion. Your amplifier needs an 800 ohm output, these speakers will not work for a normal amplifier. These speakers are in good condition.There is 1 small damage to the cone. The whizzes are nice. They have almost the same date code. The first number is the week, the second the year. 1 week different . Speakers came from the same radio set and are a real pair. In this listing I have 2 speakers for sale. These speakers are in good condition. I tested with an ohm meter, and see the results. These speakers will measure 800 ohms @ 1000kHz. The measurements taken was with an multimeter, and then you get around 600 ohms.
